This is a list of all the places I have eaten at around the world. My aim is to inspire you to keep traveling in spite of following a coeliac diet.
I hope this information will be useful for planning your future trips as well as to give you courage to eat out, whether it’ll be close to home or abroad. As you can see, you don’t need to give up on traveling because of the gluten free diet. You still can go on adventures and discover the world!
Please, bear in mind that this list is just an illustrative example of the places where I have been able to find gluten free food options. Some of them specialize in gluten-free food; others offer some options suitable for people with coeliac disease and/or can alter their regular menu to accommodate a gluten-free diet. My experience at these spots occurred at a specific moment, therefore things may have changed over time. For this reason, precautions should be taken to assure that these places are still coeliac-friendly. I would also suggest checking with the applicable coeliac organization to enquire about the restaurant before dining.
As I really enjoy cuisine and finding spots where to eat, this page will be updated regularly.

Glutenacious Note: I have organized the whole list in alphabetical order, from the countries to the regions within that country and also the name of the restaurants. I have implemented this alphabetical order to facilitate your search. There is also a color code to help visualize better the different meal options that might be offered by the restaurants (gluten-free; lactose-free; vegan/vegetarian; organic).
I remind you that this is a list of all the places I have visited personally and that, unless otherwise stated, all has been payed by me. |
