Something happens in Madrid when temperatures start to dwindle (and most likely in many other Spanish cities) as a curious phenomenon takes place at breakfast time. Let’s have a look at the cafeterias, shall we? Surprisingly, the café con leche is no longer that popular as a deeper, richer and more comforting drink has replaced it: a wonderful hot chocolate! Which comes of course with a side of lovely churros.

Where to eat gluten free in Paris? Don't get lost in the City of Lights with this essential guide22/12/2015
Bonjour!
So you wanna visit the City of Lights and are wandering whether you'll be able to keep up with your celiac diet and to which places you could go? Fear not, having being myself in Paris recently, I am more than happy to share with you those places I went to. Here it is my essential guide for gluten free dining around Paris, enjoy and bon appetit! Oh, tapas, the quintessential feature of the sweet Spanish life. Let me take you on a tapas crawl in the madrileño neighbourhood of Lavapiés. Beware, because these aren’t just the regular tapas you can find everywhere, but an international version to eat your way around the world (and of course, they are celiac friendly).
Are you ready to taste some delicious tapas? Let’s go! Hello everyone and happy World Book Day!
To honour this day I would like to share with you a very special and unique event I had recently the opportunity to attend: a Books and Coffee pairing. Wait, what did you say? Matching books and coffee? Yes! Come along and enjoy this selection of coffees and books. Hello everyone! It's been a year since I last saw you, so let’s kick off 2015 in a very special (and sweet) way: with a new cuisine experience! (Warning, there's chocolate involved!) What a better way to start off the weekend than by doing a chocolate tasting? I couldn't imagine neither a sweeter nor more delicious way. Whether it was about the experience of doing a chocolate tasting (my first one!) or the fact that it was all gluten free, I won’t deny that I was really excited to appeal my sweet tooth. Even though autumn is my favourite season, I cannot stop thinking about Summer time right now, or to be more specific, my parisian Summer. Somehow, I was able to scape from the large amount of tourists that populate the city and it felt as if I was in a different place. Yes, I was a tourist myself, but having the opportunity to mingle with Parisian citizens, really changed the perspective I had about the city. As soon as I stepped in Paris, I found myself enjoying the smooth pace of life. |
